G-12 CONFERENCE
PURPOSE OF THE CONFERENCE

- Learn the values of the 12
- Raising leaders
- Empowering pastors
- To be filled with the Holy Spirit
- A time of Refreshing

The first G-12 conference that we held as a church was attended by 41 pastors along with their leaders from all round the country. Some attendees had to travel for more than 10 hours to get to the conference. The conference had around 300 participants and it was held at our church main auditorium. Our staff had organized the conference excellently giving attention to detail on every aspect of the conference. Pastor Rick and Pastor Mike spoke in the conference and had a major impact on almost all the participants through their spirit filled messages.

Friday morning began with a session of powerful praise and worship session led by our church worship team which filled the atmosphere with the presence of God and led people to worship in spirit and in truth. Then Pastor Rick shared on the importance of relationships and it was further reinforced through the message from Pastor Mike. The morning session led the pastors and leaders to understand the value of building quality relationships and thereafter convicting them to put the same into practice.

Once again the tone was set for Saturday morning through the praise and worship session and it was followed by the inspirational message from Pastor Rick. He spoke about the characteristics of a vision through the passage where God speaks to Abraham in Genesis chapter 12. At the end of the session we laid hands and prayed for all the leaders who had attended the conference releasing God’s anointing to carryout all that they had received from the conference.

Many pastors and leaders spoke highly about the conference and in the manner it was conducted. We see this stepping stone for our future that we believe God has prepared for us.

The bible is very clear that the heart of God is for missions. We see that God sent His untouched son to be touched tortured and to die on the cross of Calvary in order to save mankind.
Today the church is God’s vital instrument, that carry the mandate of God, which was portrayed through the sending of His son to this sinful world. We at Bethany CLC have understood this and we have taken every measure within our reach to carry out this calling.

Pastor

It was a rainy Friday night, when we launched our 1st service and we had 30 people who were quite wet due to the rain. I still recall the lightning & thunder that over shadowed our service and I clearly remember the Lord telling me this ministry will be a ministry like the rain bringing the presence of the Lord. He also said that the lightning represented power and thunder represented the Word. I also thank God that 70% of the first members are still with us.

In the past 4 years, the Good Lord has helped us to grow at steady pace and as of today by His grace we have a congregation of 450 people who are going through the process of becoming leaders.
